Herkkumaa’s pasta sauce with tomato and pasta sauce with herb have been selected for the Finland’s Most Responsible Product 2026 competition for the second year in a row! Last year, the pasta sauces made it all the way to the finals in a tight race, and now Herkkumaa returns even stronger to continue promoting a more sustainable food culture.

Herkkumaa’s pasta sauces are produced in Finland in a zero-emission production, and their lightweight carton-plastic packaging is both convenient and environmentally friendly. The locally produced packaging, made in Häme region, supports the circular economy and reduces emissions from transportation. The factory’s energy-efficient steam production is powered by renewable electricity, further lowering the carbon footprint of the manufacturing process.

The Finland’s Most Responsible Product competition celebrates products and services that promote sustainable lifestyles and provide consumers with genuinely responsible choices. Organized annually on the website Ostavastuullisesti.fi, the competition highlights products that benefit people, the environment, and society as a whole.

The public voting will take place at Ostavastuullisesti.fi from October 31 to November 21. Everyone can cast their vote and support responsible everyday choices. Among all voters, sustainable prizes from Ostavastuullisesti.fi partners will be raffled.
