Herkkumaa Oy has carried out a solar energy project to make the company more environmentally friendly and ensure it meets its climate goals. We installed 440 solar panels on the roof of our warehouse building. They provide enough energy to power several of our production lines and keep the lights on.
The EU contributed €72,323.30 in funding to the project.
Herkkumaa Group Oy has appointed Ilpo Mäkelä as its new Chief Executive Officer. He will assume the position on 17 August 2026.
Herkkumaa’s subsidiary Björnekulla Food AB is pleased to announce the appointment of David Bolin as the new Managing Director, effective 16.3.2026.
Herkkumaa will participate in Gastro Helsinki 2026, which will be held at the Helsinki Exhibition & Convention Centre on March 11–12, 2026.
